Please read these Terms of Use carefully. By accessing our website or using our services, you confirm that you understand, accept, and agree to be bound by these terms.

Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to amend, update, or remove parts of these Terms of Use at any time. Where changes are made, we will take reasonable steps to notify users. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.

Refund Policy

We operate a clear and strict cancellation policy:

  • Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment are eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment are non-refundable.
  • Refunds will only be issued to the original payer and cannot be transferred to another individual or account.
  • If a MIAM or mediation session is cancelled by us, a full refund will be provided upon request.
  • Where a session cannot proceed due to client-side technical issues, including inadequate internet connection or equipment failure, the session will be treated as attended and is non-refundable.

VAT

We do not currently charge VAT on our services. If this changes, it will be clearly stated on all invoices.

MIAM and Mediation Sessions

  • A Mediation Information and Assessment Meeting (MIAM) is valid for 4 months from the date of completion. If a court application is not made within this period, the MIAM may no longer be accepted by the court.
  • If there is a gap of 4 months or more between mediation sessions, a new MIAM may be required before further sessions can proceed.
  • From time to time, we may allow trainee mediators or quality assurance personnel to observe sessions for training and service monitoring purposes. Where possible, you will be informed in advance. If you do not consent, you must notify us at the point of booking.

Child Arrangements Documentation

  • A Statement of Child Arrangements will be provided free of charge where two or more mediation sessions have taken place.
  • Where only one mediation session has taken place, a fee of £100 per person will apply if using the MOJ Family mediation voucher scheme.
